Every day at messy art will hold new surprises. Reggio Emilia inspired, we will provide very open ended, tactile and curiosity provoking materials, letting children explore them in their own unique way. My daughter still prefers painting her body over paper. There is no right or wrong way, and children can work together or solo.

For example, a painting day might include ready made paints as well as the option to mix up their own watercolor, tempera or puffy paint from household kitchen materials. And there are so many possibilities for moving paint – string, marbles, rollers, leaves, straws, eye droppers, sand…. endless inspiration for creative minds and bodies!

All materials will be non-toxic, but some may not wash out as well as others. So come with play clothes, ready to get messy and explore! Parents may feel free to stay or take a break and hang out in the Warehouse cafe, use the free wireless, and browse at Daisys and Dinos children’s resale store. However, due to insurance reasons, we ask that parents remain in the building while their child is in class.

Cost: $5 per child
